Hello, we are Simon & Bex Fletcher...

....hosts of The Old Dairy Retreat, our converted farm outbuilding set on a peaceful smallholding just outside Upper Heyford, perfectly placed for countryside quiet with easy access to Oxfordshire’s highlights and the beautiful Cotswolds.

We live on site in the main house with our two sons, Henry and Joe. We’re close by if you need anything — from local tips to a spare corkscrew — but otherwise we keep things discreet, so you can settle in and switch off.

Step outside and you’re on the edge of the Cotswolds: miles of lanes for walks and cycles, Blenheim Palace for grand gardens and exhibitions, Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic for spa days and farm-to-table treats, Chipping Norton for indie boutiques and theatre, and Bicester Village for designer outlets. Motorsport fans have Silverstone within easy reach, while food lovers can wander to proper English pubs — low beams, log fires, Sunday roasts — that feel delightfully untouched by time.

Indoors, we’ve styled the retreat with a little-luxe sensibility: crisp linens, plush throws, good coffee, and thoughtful details that make short stays feel special and longer stays effortless. Outside, there’s space to breathe — morning birdsong with your first cup, golden-hour strolls across open fields, and big skies after dark.
