The Old Dairy Retreat is a place we’ve created for couples who want to slow down for a few days and properly switch off.
Set in peaceful countryside, it’s a private, self-contained space where you can arrive, shut the door behind you, and relax at your own pace. Whether that’s doing very little or getting out and exploring, it’s entirely up to you.
Inside, the cottage is warm, comfortable and thoughtfully put together. It’s got everything you need for an easy stay — somewhere to cook, unwind, and spend time together without feeling rushed. Mornings are slow, evenings are relaxed, and the space is designed to feel calm and easy to be in.
Where it really stands out is the outside space. The sauna and wood-fired hot tub are yours to use whenever you like, and they tend to become the highlight for most guests. Sitting out there in the evening, especially once it’s gone quiet, is what makes the place feel a bit special.
We’re in a great location if you do want to explore. Bicester Village, Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace are all close by, and the Cotswolds are within easy reach for a day out.
If you’re heading to Silverstone, it’s an easy drive from here — close enough for the action, but far enough to come back and unwind afterwards.
We live nearby, so we’re always on hand if you need anything, but otherwise we’ll leave you to enjoy the cottage in peace.
